Career Options Are Aplenty For Forensic Psychologists

People often think that forensic psychology is relevant only to the judiciary system. Probably, the word ‘forensic’ is to blame for that. However, forensic psychologists are also called for in cases like workplace discrimination or child custody. However, they work with judges, attorneys, juries and other legal professionals. In fact, we can often see them as expert witnesses in different cases. So, the work and the career options for a forensic psychologist is not limited. As they operate at the intersection of the judicial system and psychology, they have a wide variety of jobs to choose from, apart from, of course, having their own business.

There are different specializations under this already niche subject of study as well and accordingly, these psychologists are called to cater to different cases. A neuropsychologist, for example, will present his expert opinion on brain damages or insanity pleas, whether a person is competent to stand trial or not.

However, there are other career options as well, for the graduates of psychology. For example, many of our students want to avoid the  forensic arena and  can enrol in the  online marriage and family therapy programs in California. These students earn handsomely while not getting entangled in the judiciary system.

We, at Eisner Institute for Professional Studies (EIPS), have developed highly standardized and practical courses and advanced courses for ur students. These courses are delivered asynchronously and thus, every student can learn them at their own comfortable pace. The best advantage of our Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) course is that we don't require a thesis or dissertation. Submitting a Capstone, which can either be a research proposal or a position paper, is sufficient for this purpose.
